The next day after our trip to Kawagoe, we headed to the Tsukiji Market. It was wild to see the vast among of seafood on display. The quality of the fish here was like nothing I've ever tasted (and that's coming from someone who is not a Sushi fan). A lot of shops were selling food in skewers or a wide variety of sushi pieces. We ended up going into a 3 story restaurant in the middle of the market and had some of the best tuna I've ever tried.

A curiosity: If you were interested (and willing, since you'd have to wake up around 5AM and go queue in line for a chance to access) in seeing how the market actually operated to store owners, you were allowed to go inside to see the famous fish auctions. Unfortunately, it seems that they stopped accepting tourists. The market is also slated for a relocation in late 2018.
